We are looking for a member the process development team responsible for upgrading the manufacturing process to improve efficiency and GMP compliance for Phase III clinical trials and commercial scale manufacturing. We will look for you to help implement new designs, methods or process modifications to improve purity, sterility, yields and formulation of recombinant poxvirus vaccines for cancer. You will utilize cell lines and primary cultures, Protein Purification, Protein Characterization and Assay Development technologies.

Also we would like you to have a BS in Microbiology, Bioprocessing, Biochemical Engineering or related discipline and 3+ years experience in process/product development in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical environment. In addition we need a team member with knowledge of and experience with Good Manufacturing Practices, industrial safety regulations and practices, cell culture and large scale protein/virus purification. Therion is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment so we also need you to be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
