Therion has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Marketing team as a summer intern.

The person hired into this position will explore marketing opportunities for Therion�s targeted immunotherapeutics for pancreatic and prostate cancer. Specifically, the successful candidate will develop a competitive intelligence program for targeted immunotherapies in each stage of development. The candidate will conduct primary and secondary market research and develop a strategic plan for responding to the competitive landscape.

Prospective candidates will be in the process of completing the first year of their MBA program. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the one of the following areas: Marketing, Communication, Medical, Health Science, or Epidemiology. Professional experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech company is preferred. In addition, candidates must demonstrate the following skills:
� Strong interpersonal skills � ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people across different functions
� Capability to work on own initiative in a non-structured environment
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills
� An analytical thinker
� Have familiarity and/or interest in healthcare marketing
� Be self-motivated and assertive
