Process Development Scientist � Cell Culture

We are looking for a scientist to work as part of a process development team responsible for upgrading the manufacturing process to improve efficiency and GMP compliance for Phase III clinical trials and commercial scale manufacturing. The candidate will lead the development and optimization of cell culture processes suitable for cGMP manufacturing of novel therapeutic vaccines. Will also develop new methods and technologies to improve viral expression, product quality, process scalability and process robustness. Previous supervisory experience is required.

We also ask that you have a Ph.D. in a scientific discipline with at least 5-8 years relevant experience; MS with 10+ years, or BS/BA with 12+ years relevant experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical Cell Culture Process Development. Experience should consist of avian or mammalian cell process development including fed-batch bioreactor or perfusion bioreactor process parameters, harvest recovery operations and scale-up and scale-down methodologies. Must possess a strong working knowledge of cGMPs, technology transfer practices and documentation for biotech operations as well as strong initiative, excellent organizational skills and proven effectiveness in a fast-changing environment.
