Therion has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Market/Business Development team as a summer intern.

The person hired into this position will develop a life cycle plan for one of Therion�s lead vaccine candidates for prostate cancer. Tasks will include determining optimal market expansions through financial forecasting, competitive intelligence, general market analysis, and product positioning. This will be achieved through collaboration with all departments responsible for product development including R&D;, clinical, regulatory, marketing and business development, as well as, outside research.

Prospective candidates will be in the process of completing the first year of their MBA program. A technical undergraduate degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the life science area (pharmaceutical/biotechnology/consulting). In addition, candidates must demonstrate the following skills:
� Good working knowledge of market research methodologies
� Experience in applying a range of forecasting techniques
� Exceptional analytical skills
� Strong interpersonal skills � ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people across different functions
� Capability to work on own initiative in a non-structured environment
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
