We are currently in Phase III clinical trials (a first for the company) and are looking for for a leader to direct the design and execution of experiments to evaluate immune responses to poxvirus-based cancer vaccines and lead the execution of the development of assays to characterize proteins produced by the recombinant poxviruses to support product lot release. We are looking for a candidate who has had success providing scientific guidance and training research associates. In addition we need someone knowledgeable in FDA regulations and cGLP and cGMP compliance with experience writing and editing standard operating procedures, technical procedure manuals, and related documents. You will also participate in regulatory submissions including Master files, INDs, and BLAs.

We also ask that you have a Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology or related scientific discipline and at least 10+ years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company including a minimum of 5+ years in a management role. Biologics experience is preferred. In addition strong experience in developing immunologic and/or protein based assays as well as working with human and animal samples including harvesting tissues and immunization in mice is needed.
