General Scope and Summary
We are looking for candidates that embrace our core values of Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, Compassion, Commitment and Excellence as they provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the successful pre-launch marketing and optimal launch and adoption of PANVAC-VF (cancer immunotherapy product) worldwide. Accountable for all aspects of product performance including identifying business issues and creating solutions to drive product performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
� Develop strategic and long-term global marketing plans for registration, launch and growth of all products, including Therion�s Phase III product PANVAC-VF.
� Works with business development, program management and senior management regarding strategic planning and product development.
� Maximize market share through effective product life cycle management, competitive intelligence and defensive strategy.
� Collaborate across functional areas on effective management of the product P&L.;
� Provide professional global marketing support to the worldwide sales organization to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
� Effectively communicate marketing objectives and the progress towards their achievement, core promotional messages and positioning, and marketing opportunities and challenges.
� Manage marketing staff to ensure high performance and successful goal achievement and career development.
� Develop and foster close relationships with key physicians, thought leaders and product champions.
� Maximize the company�s image in the eyes of patients, physicians and investors.
� Work with research professionals to provide commercial input to the development of new products.
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
� 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech strategic global marketing experience with a successful track record. Experience in oncology strongly preferred.
� Bachelor�s degree in business or scientific field; MBA is highly desirable.
� Prior experience with a successful product launch required.
� Proven success designing and implementing the marketing strategy to bring a product to market, including BLA filing.
� Demonstrated ability to develop creative and effective marketing strategies for new products to build value for an organization.
� Demonstrated ability to participate within an executive team in developing and implementing winning strategies and building an organization.
� Champion product cause through organization.
� Ability to manage budget to achieve corporate objective.
� Excellent leadership, communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
� Ability to lead cooperatively in a matrix environment.
� Established ability to manage a team and demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues.
